Music Supervisors best albums of 2023 / Rollo Grady

It’s always nice to be included by Rollo Grady in this long-standing annual tradition polling most of the working music supervisors in the industry for their favorite albums of the year.

“Best of” lists of any kind make me a little panicky so it’s far less stressful for me to think of this as simply a list of records that I particularly loved this year. I didn’t listen to every album released worldwide in 2023 so I don’t know if these are the “BEST,” but I do listen to a lot of music and I think these are all pretty great.

The list (to the right over there) is not in any ranking order, I love everything on it equally.

Click on either image to visit the Rollo Grady website with all 190 music supervisor lists. It’s worth perusing all of them since everyone invited to submit has been in the trenches for a while. Then take a listen to the Spotify playlist of my favorite songs from my album selections (after the jump).

Also, my apologies to Fontaines D.C. for the typo in “Skinty Fia go deo.” There doesn’t seem to be any way to correct that at this point
