Official soundtrack for CUCK out now on Lakeshore Records
The official score soundtrack for CUCK is out now on Lakeshore Records.
We had the Los Angeles and Stockholm based producer duo ROOM8 create the score for this movie and they really knocked it out of the park with an incredibly moody and evocative analogue synth manifestation that feels like it could live in classic films from the late 70s to the early 90s.
During the production of the score, most of the mixing was done onboard the classic synths themselves as opposed to recording separate tracks into Pro Tools and mixing it on a computer. This is one of the ways they kept the process very true to how these kinds of film scores were created before the DAW era by composers like John Carpenter or Giorgio Moroder.
